Project Manager - Hospitality

Summary:Coordinates and monitors projects from initiation through delivery. Serves as liaison between the company and client in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensures that projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Operates under moderate supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (% of time on each):
70% Coordinates and monitors complex billable projects from initiation through delivery:
- Ensures that billable projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Works to actively identify and resolve potential problems and works to mitigate any risks.
- Oversees formal change management process and controls.
- Monitors project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project team members and key stakeholders.
- Prepares regular professional reports on project progress and problems.
30% Serves as liaison between the company and client in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met:
- Assists management with evaluation and development of a project plan.
- Keeps appropriate people informed of project progress.
- Disseminates information on any problems or potential delays.
Essential Education, Skills and Environment:
Education and Work Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business or computer science.
Requires at least 6 years of experience in business consulting or technical consulting, including a track record of interacting at senior levels within
client organizations and experience leading complex, lengthy professional services project teams.
Project management certification.
Knowledge of hotel operations or affiliated hospitality industry preferred.

Able to resolve problems in a timely manner.
